Rick Green of Wallbuilders will be our guest speaker for the 9th Annual Helen Cole Republican of the Year Banquet!
WallBuilders is an organization dedicated to presenting America’s forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on the moral, religious, and constitutional foundation on which America was built – a foundation which, in recent years, has been seriously attacked and undermined. In accord with what was so accurately stated by George Washington, we believe that “the propitious [favorable] smiles of heaven can never be expected on a nation which disregards the eternal rules of order and right which heaven itself has ordained.”

Message from Pat Tautfest, President of Republican Women’s Club:
DEAR CLUB MEMBERS – LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
If you missed the recent Cleveland County Republican Women’s Annual Elephant Round-Up held on August 21st, 2010, you missed the event of the year. I considered it a packed house at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds. Guess who arrived early were treated to a door prize and a chance to win one of a few extra special door prizes during the evening.
Joe and Jeannie Lester out did themselves by serving up the “best food in town” with some added touches, and desserts were being served by two good looking guys.
CCRWC had the honor of introducing the newest Republican, 4 ½ week old MacKenzie Nagel who ventured out, for her first time, to attend a Republican event along with her proud parents Rick and Kandi, and Grandparents, Rusty and Sherry Sullivan.
State Vice Chair Angie LaPlante kicked off the evening by introducing all the elected officials, candidates for 2010 and those candidates who have announced their candidacy for SD-15 if Senator Nichols should win the Judge position.
The Best Boot Contest has become a tradition and taking top honors, first place, this year was our own, Chris Jones who came prepared to win. Two additional prizes were given out to the second and third place winner.
As Angie began her introduction of our Special Guest Speaker, Lt Governor to be, Todd Lamb, a rain storm came up, we lost electricity along with the lights and A/C. Some who had their windows or tops down on their vehicles were rushing out to see how much water was on the inside. We opened doors and kept right on going. After Todd spoke, Rusty and Steve Fair began with the auction and they did not miss a beat or getting the bucks.
We the Members of CCRWC wish to THANK everyone that purchased a ticket and attended. To those of you who took part in the purchasing of an auction item/S. Each of you helped to make this annual event a success.
A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS: Dr. Janet Barresi, Dr. Harold Haralson, II, Rick and Kandi Nagel; John and Peggy Crawford, Talitha Nichols, Marc Nuttle, Commissioner Rusty and Sherry Sullivan, The Honorable J C and Frankie Watts; Don and Pat Allen, Commissioner Rod and Christine Cleveland, Representative Scott and Angela Martin, CMSgt. Steven and Karol Parker, Commissioner George and Martha Skinner, Larry and Kathy Tautfest, Representative Paul and Judy Wesselhoft; Sheriff Joe and Jeannie Lester; Elaine Dake; Hal Smith Restaurant Group; Betty Lou’s Flowers; Suzy’s Creation – Suzy and Luke Canon; RAGraphix – Laura Clarbour and Hubby and Randy; Bobby Cleveland.
Thank you to – Senator Todd Lamb our next Oklahoma Lt. Governor, State GOP Vice Chair Angie LaPlante, Fourth District Chair Steve Fair and Commissioner Rusty Sullivan for helping to make this a great event and evening.
Thank you to – Laura Clarbour, Cheryl Terry, Virginia Clendening, Chris Jones, Bob and Sherry Neidhart, Karol and Steven Parker, Patty Curtis, Gayle Bryner for helping in some very special ways. We could not have done it without each of you.
I know that I’ve forgotten someone, please forgive me.
